Notice to Arbour Housing Tenants

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

In line with up to date government advice on the management of the coronavirus outbreak, we continue to make changes in the way we deliver our services.

These changes are intended to protect our customers and our staff while ensuring that we continue to provide services.

The main changes are as follows:

Office

Our office is open on an appointment basis only. Please contact us on 02838 339795 if you wish to arrange an appointment.

Please note that staff will not be carrying out home visits until further notice.

Repair Service

In line with updated Departmental Guidance we have resumed the completion of non-urgent works. Our staff are working through the backlog of repair requests and we would ask for your patience as we aim to get these completed as soon as practicably possible.

When you report a repair our staff will continue to ask you some additional questions relating to your health, whether you are self-isolating, suffering from a new persistent cough, or have a temperature. This information will inform our response and allow us to risk assess the works. Our contractors will also have to carry out a risk assessment before attending to the works and they will contact you to advise on what to do next. When reporting a repair after outside office hours or at the weekend, please continue to contact Radius Connect 24 on 028 90 421010.

We have resumed our External Cyclical Maintenance Works and Planned Works Programme. If your home is included in this year’s Planned Improvement Programme you will have been contacted by a member of staff.

Housing Service/Applying for a Transfer

Our services continue to be disrupted as a result of staff being unable to carry out home visits. However, we will continue to provide advice and assistance by telephone. Customers should contact the number above if they wish to make an appointment at our office.

Rental Payments

Customers facing financial difficulties as a result of the on going emergency should telephone the office for further advice. We will have a sensitive approach to those in financial difficulty.

Support Services

We recognise that this will be a difficult time for our tenants, especially those who are elderly, vulnerable or living on their own. If you have a concern or feel you need additional support please call our office on 028 38 339795.
